Polar Bear and Glaucous Gulls in the Canadian Arctic feeding on a dead Beluga Whale. Beluga Whales come into this shallow bay to rub off their outer skin, but some get stranded at low tide. This provides food for Polar Bears, gulls and other animals. We saw 17 Polar Bears at this location. Coningham Bay, Prince of Wales Island, Nunavut, on 26 August 2015, with Worldwide Quest.

New Camera

As of May 2015, I'm using the Nikon p900 83x zoom. This camera is replacing digiscoping for me. It's fantastic.

Most earlier photos were digiscoped with a Swarovski scope and spice jar lid adapter. My latest scope is the Swarovski ATM 80 HD
