Female Wild Turkey on nest with 11 eggs near trail in Tildens Woods on 7 May 2010. It was still incubating on 18 May 2010.

Great Horned Owls usually use an old crow's nest or Red-tailed Hawk nest because they do not build their own nest. But when a broken off snag like this large one is available, they use it. Point Pelee, 13 May 2010

 

This young owl tried out its wings on 13 May 2010. Next day one fledged and one was left in the nest snag.
