Today, 10 February 2013,
I saw the celebrity Barred Owl at Cranberry Marsh, after trying many
times since last October. In beautiful light, it sat quietly before an
adoring crowd, unruffled. Families with young
children watched it with awe.
It opened its eyes when
two Wild Turkeys feeding near the trail flew over it and landed in
the trees behind.
