The new shorebird shelter at Hillman
Marsh Shorebird Cell provides panoramic views of shorebirds. The
shelter is a cooperative venture of Mike Malone at Pelee Wings
Nature Store, Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO), Trillium
Foundation and Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA). |

ERCA manages the crop
and water levels in the Shorebird Cell to provide habitat for
northbound migrating shorebirds. |

Thousands of

for the Shorebird Showing sponsored by OFO and Point Pelee National
Park. OFO volunteers shared their scopes and discussed shorebird
identification and plumages. |
