Arctic Gulls in Toronto - 28 December 2013

On 28 December 2013, Declan Troy and I visited Ashbridges Bay where we saw about 14 Kumlien's - Thayer's Gulls on the ice opposite the boat ramps. Several gave close views as we noted variation in wing tip pigmentation (various shades of grey to black), eye colour and bill colour and pattern. At Sunnyside we saw a juvenile Glaucous Gull on the breakwall.
