This Common Loon in breeding plumage was
one of 54 Common Loons we saw at the Whimbrel Watch in Colonel Sam
Smith Park in Toronto on 22 May 2014. It was staging on Lake Ontario
before migrating north to its breeding grounds. This photo is for
