Two Kirtland's Warblers at Point Pelee

This rare Kirtland's Warbler was singing loudly at Point Pelee on 12 May 2016. They aren't often heard singing in the park. Very exciting. Thanks to Gerry Binsfeld for refinding this one, the third or fourth of the season.

Kirtland's Warbler on 9 May 2016

Here's Point Pelee's second Kirtland's Warbler of the season seen today near the entrance to Point Pelee NP. Very rare, probably destined for the breeding grounds in Michigan. Found by Mike Bouman on 9 May 2016. I believe four different Kirtland's were seen in early May.

Later in the afternoon it was along the beach and low down. 9 May 2016
