Juvenile Cooper's Hawk in Brookbanks Ravine, Toronto

This juvenile Cooper's Hawk frequently appears around our bird feeders. It may have been one of the birds that hatched in Brookbanks Ravine this summer. Note the layered arrangement of the tail feathers and the teardrop streaking on its front. 13 November 2017.

It gave great views of its front and back as it eyed the House Sparrows.

Then it sat on neighbour's fence for a while. Brookbanks Ravine on 13 November 2017
