Evening Grosbeak at Cranberry Marsh

VIDEO: This female Evening Grosbeak came to the feeder at Cranberry Marsh and stayed for about an hour, then continued on its migration. 14 November 2018.

 

Evening Grosbeaks are migrating south out of the Boreal Forest because both conifer and deciduous seed crops are generally low in the Northeast (Ron Pittaway's Winter Finch Forecast).
