Mountain Bluebird in Rouge Urban National Park

Female Mountain Bluebird perched on buckthorn beside Sideline 30 in Rouge Urban National Park, Durham Region, on 9 January 2020. Charmaine Anderson first spotted it on 6 January 2020.

Mountain Bluebird has cobalt blue wings and tail and a tawny-rufous wash across its breast and throat. Rouge Urban National Park on 7 January 2020.

It has a tawny-rufous wash across the upper breast. In the apple tree it's eating wild grapes not apples. Vines are all through the tree. Rouge Urban National Park on 9 January 2020.
