A Snowy Owl was on the dock at Frenchman's Bay in Pickering on 14
January 2019. I would like to share with friendly people who were
walking their dogs while we watched the Snowy and chatted. This was
a bright spot on a dull and dreary winter's day with poor light for
photos. |

The bay is packed with ducks and geese. The Snowy
looked in every direction, checking out the ducks. Frenchman's Bay

The Snowy appears to be a well-marked adult.
There is no mottling in the feathers which would indicate a first
