Second winter
Kumlien's Gull at Bluffers Park in Toronto on 1 March 2012 |
After watching Kumlien's Gulls at
Niagara from a distance, it is a treat to have them so close at
Bluffers Park you can see every feather. The younger birds, such as
this one in second winter plumage, were less
wary than the adults. A constant stream of people feeds the
Trumpeter Swans, ducks and gulls. |
