Pond is high and it spent most time on the rocky spits where it
caught prey and preened. |

Male Piping Plover is
told by the distinct black collar and forehead. |

Piping Plovers like
wide sandy beaches.
A banded Piping Plover was at Darlington Provincial Park on 27 and
28 May 2009. |

In May 2012, a Piping Plover was
reported from Presqu'ile Provincial Park. In spring 2011, we
received reports of Piping Plovers from Darlington Provincial Park
and Toronto Islands. |
