We sailed between the mainland of Ua
Huka on the left and the flat-topped bird island with thousands of
nesting Sooty Terns and other seabirds. The noise was amazing. The
other cone shaped island is also a bird island. |

Hundreds of birds swirled in the air and
were packed closely together on the rocky surface. |

at sea, but Red-footed Boobies were the most common booby in the
