Evening Grosbeaks, Common Redpolls and Pileated Woodpecker

Ginny's Feeders - Uphill - Carden, Ontario

Male Evening Grosbeak on 14 January 2011. Eleanor Beagan and I visited Ginny's bird yard at 1545 Monck Road, north side just east of intersection with Victoria Road, Uphill in Carden on 10 and 14 January, where we received a warm welcome. The feeders were teeming with Common Redpolls and about 65 vocal Evening Grosbeaks.

Eleanor Beagan took this video of the "Evening Greedies" at Ginny's feeders on 14 January. Be sure to have your sound on.
