A second summer (alternate) California
Gull was at the tip of Point Pelee on 12 May 2015. Here it is
compared to larger Herring Gull behind it and smaller Ring-billed
Gulls on each side.
It has no head
streaking at this time of year. 12 May 2015.
California Gull mantle
is darker than Herring and Ring-billed. The eye is noticeably dark.
