Reddish Egret at Oliphant Fen, Bruce Peninsula

REDDISH EGRET – A FIRST FOR ONTARIO. North America’s rarest heron/egret has made its way to Ontario. This very active heron is a treat to watch as it runs, walks, strides, raises its wings, leaps and stalks its prey. An amazing find by Alfred Raab and Kiah Kasper on the Bruce Peninsula on 22 August 2018.
