Harris's Sparrow at Wellington, Prince Edward County |
 |
Harris's Sparrow is rare in Southern Ontario. Its presence at
feeders and brushy shrubby habitat on the opposite side of the road
allows birders to see it well. Many thanks to Dale Smith for
welcoming birders and for keeping his feeders stocked. His
neighbours also have stocked feeders. Wellington, Prince Edward
County on 16 November 2019, a bright sunny day with early morning
temperature at -11 C. |
