While birding in the gardens of the
Machu Picchu Inkaterra Hotel an Andean Cock-of-the-Rock suddenly
crashed into a window and fluttered to a bush below. That wasn't how
we wanted to see Peru's National Bird. We stayed back and soon it
moved about. We were so happy when it recovered and flew off across
the river. 31 March 2016. |
