Adult Great Black-backed Gull with leg band OR5 at Minet's Point, Barrie, on 12 December. "It was banded on May 20, 2011 at Appledore Island, Isle of Shoals, Maine. 0R5 was a nesting adult at the time of banding (four+ years of age)."  OR5 is at least 8 years old and returns to Barrie in late fall every year since 2011.
