Swallow-tailed Gull is one of the most beautiful gulls in
the world. It appears to be the only gull species that feeds
exclusively at night, mainly on squid and fish that come to the
surface to feed. Galapagos is its main breeding grounds, with a very
small number (around 50 pairs) breeding on an island off Colombia,
South America. South Plaza on 10 November 2012. |
