Black Rock River Lodge is on the Macal River in the Maya Mountains, a beautiful location.

We were excited to see Kentucky Warblers foraging in the leaf litter around our cabins at Black Rock Lodge. Easily seen, its behaviour was different on the wintering grounds. It wasn`t the same skulker we see at Point Pelee in May,

 

We took a night drive and saw this Northern Potoo on a post beside the road. 28 February 2013.
